Caminos De Agua

 

 

Caminos de Agua is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing low-cost solutions for water quality and scarcity challenges. Notable innovations include the Groundwater Treatment System (GTS), designed to remove arsenic and fluoride from contaminated water.

These solutions are implemented both locally and across Mexico, often in collaboration with partner NGOs. By 2024, the organization has installed over 1,200 large-scale rainwater harvesting systems and promotes sustainable practices such as composting toilets.

Access to clean water remains a critical issue, with 40-50% of Indigenous Mexicans—particularly in rural and remote areas of states like Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Guerrero—living without consistent access to safe drinking water.

Dig Deep: Navajo Water Project

 

Dig Deep is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing running water to Navajo families. Over 30% of families living in Navajo reservations do not have access to running water or even have safe drinking water.  Besides the Navajo water project, Dig Deep has other projects they work on such as  the Appalachia Water Project and Colonias Water Project.

Pure Water For The World

 

Pure Water for the world is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean water and sanitation to communities in Central America and Haiti. Through their WASH initative they provide water technologies such as water filters, sanitation technologies like hand washing stations in schools, WASH school curiculum, and long term monitoring.
